Intolerable Cruelty - Money back Guarentee. George colony was brilliantly over the top. Go see this before you do anything else, then preorder the dvd, then buy it on Betamax just so you can say that you have it.
School of Rock - Jack Black can make every movie good, ok he didn't make Shallow Hal any good and his cameo in Biodome didn't help at all either. JB made a cornball story funny, not as funny as an episode of MR. SHOW but at least as funny as any SNL from the past 10 years. Plus there was a Ramones poster in it which is punk and Warren from the Vandals wrote some of the songs in it, also punk.
Wonderland - A movie with Val Kilmer about a porn star that gets involved in drugs and murder, what more do I need. I have some complaints about the cinematography. Drugs, porn, and murder are uber punk.
Elephant - Gus Van Sant's touching look at school violence. Following various students through a day at school that ends in a bloody massacre, very artsy, very little dialog. The ending is chilling. There isn't really anything punk about this movie, it is kind of like when punks go to college and start listening to Belle and Sabasion or Pedro the Lion to become more artsy.
Elf - Will Ferrell is very funny so are people smaller than me. As a Christmas movie this has nothing on "A Christmas Story" but it's better than those Tim Allen Movies where he becomes Santa. The part where Buddy (Ferrell) beats up a department store santa is amazing.
Scary Movie 3 - Funnier than the 1st not as funny as the 2nd. Very forgettable, in fact I forgot everything about it. One of the Zucker Brothers directed, I think those guys ran out of gags. Wait for it to come on cable or drink two 40s before you go see it.
Kill Bill - Quentin Tarantino loves gun play and fighting. I don't really remember there being anything else in this movie except gun play and fighting. The final fight scene is about 20 mins to long for me (I don't even think I could watch Will Ferrell dressed as an elf beat up a department store santa for 45 mins). It shouldn't be possible for watching fighting to be boring but Tarantino seems to have figured it out. If you want my advice rent True Romance or Reservoir Dogs.
Matrix: Revolutions - Alright here's my idea instead of making 3 matrix movies they could have made just the one that was awesome. Then spent all the rest of that money making 2 more Point Break movies or like a Bill and Ted movie with the slow motion fighting. That would have been better and I wouldn't have wasted my time. And what the hell is the guy from Oz doing out of his wheel chair?
